Villa Castelletta was originally built and used as a working farmhouse. And, like most farmhouses in Italy, the ground floor was originally used as a barn for animals during the winter months, whilst the upper floors were used as living quarters.
As part of the property renovation project in 2003, the ground floor was converted into a spacious, open-plan reception room, complete with distinct kitchen, dining and sitting areas. There is also a separate utility room with washing facilities, plus a cloakroom.
A feature of the ground floor is the attractive spiral staircase that connects the ground floor with the bedrooms on the upper floors and the first floor Reading/Sitting room. The reception room also provides access to the drive at the front of the property, as well as access to the covered patio, barbeque and heated swimming pool at the rear.
Equipment & Furniture...
The equipment and white goods in the kitchen and utility room currently includes a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, cold-drinks fridge, washing machine and indoor drying line. The large dining table is capable of providing seating spaces for 14 guests, whilst the sitting area has a stereo sound system and a variety of comfortable seats and sofas.
The existing equipment and furniture is not included in the selling price of the property but is available for sale under a separate agreement if required. Run mouse over small images to view larger version.
